Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ClearDue Tracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

ClearDue Tracker is a personal reminder and tracking application designed to help you keep track of bills, subscriptions, renewals, and other recurring items. The App provides local notifications and stores data on your device with optional iCloud sync.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ClearDue Tracker for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

In-App Purchases

ClearDue Tracker offers a one-time purchase ("ClearDue Tracker Core") that unlocks premium features. Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Service Continuity

ClearDue Tracker may be operated by a small team or a single developer. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time, including due to illness, incapacity, death, sale of the business, or shutdown. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice in the app or on our website. We do not guarantee ongoing availability, updates, or support.

Data Storage and Survivability

Your reminder data is stored on your device and, for premium users who enable sync, in your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. Account numbers, when provided, are stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and are encrypted before being synced to iCloud. We do not host your CloudKit data on our own servers and we do not have access to your Apple Account credentials. If we discontinue the app, your data may remain in your iCloud account, but we do not guarantee continued access to that data through the app after discontinuation.

Account Number Handling

Account numbers are user-provided, optional content. They are:

Digital Legacy

If you want someone to access your iCloud data after your death, you should use Apple's Legacy Contact feature or other Apple supported processes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. You acknowledge that:

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue access to the App or related services at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

Survival

Sections that by their nature should survive will survive termination of these Terms, including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
