Overview

ClearDue Tracker ("the App") is a personal reminder and tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Data Collection

We do not collect personal data. ClearDue Tracker stores all your information locally on your device. We do not:

• Require account creation or login
• Collect your name, email, or contact information
• Track your location
• Access your contacts, photos, or other personal files
• Use analytics or tracking services
• Share any data with third parties

Local Data Storage

All data you enter into ClearDue Tracker (reminders, due dates, notes, and preferences) is stored on your device. Premium users may enable iCloud sync, which stores data in your private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit) to keep reminders in sync across your devices. This synced data:

• Is stored in your personal iCloud account, accessible only to you
• Is never shared with us or any third party
• Can be removed by disabling iCloud sync or deleting the app

Account Numbers

ClearDue Tracker allows you to optionally store account numbers alongside your reminders. Account numbers are treated as sensitive content and handled with the following safeguards:

• Secure on-device storage: Full account numbers are stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore), never in standard app preferences or plain text files
• Masked by default: Account numbers are displayed in masked form (e.g., •••• 1234) throughout the app
• Biometric protection: Revealing or copying the full account number requires biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) when available on your device
• Optional iCloud sync (Premium): If you enable the "Sync account numbers" feature, account numbers are encrypted on your device before being stored in your private iCloud (CloudKit) database for cross-device access. The encryption key is stored in iCloud Keychain, accessible only to your Apple ID
• User control: You can clear or replace account numbers at any time. Deleting a reminder also permanently removes the associated account number from both local storage and iCloud (if sync is enabled)
• No logging: Full account numbers are never included in app logs, analytics, or diagnostic data

Notifications

ClearDue Tracker uses local notifications to remind you about upcoming items. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

In-App Purchases

ClearDue Tracker offers a one-time purchase to unlock premium features. Purchases are processed securely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Family Sharing

Premium entitlements may be shared with family members through Apple's Family Sharing. However, reminder data (including account numbers) remains private to each Apple ID and is not shared between family members. Each user's data is stored in their own private iCloud database.

Third-Party Services

ClearDue Tracker uses Apple's StoreKit for processing purchases and Apple's CloudKit for optional iCloud sync (premium feature). Both services are governed by Apple's privacy policy. No data is sent to any other third-party service.

Children's Privacy

ClearDue Tracker does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

Your Rights
